North Haven Conservation Partners is a non-profit organization which:
- is a local option for land conservation projects;
- works with landowners who seek to protect their land with conservation easements and other conservation tools;
- promotes conservation through its programs of walks, lectures and environmental education; and
- works with Town of North Haven and other community organizations seeking to sustain the islands natural resources while balancing growth with conservation.
NHCP was founded in 1996 and is a 501 c(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. As of August 2009, NHCP, has conserved 199 acres under ownership or conservation easements.
